Along with some other ones that just made my heart melt....but all in all we had a great time.

My mom and I traveled to Wichita to spend Memorial Day weekend with her. She actually stayed with us in the hotel for two nights and spend all the time with us. We went to her church on Sunday morning and evening, and I've had enough church to last me a whole month. They go to a Pentecostal church, of which I've never been to before, but it was an experience in and of itself.
We swam a lot, and we had a great time. She loved jumping on the bed...I'll do a post of just her jumping...they aren't the best quality images, but it tells you how much fun she is and how much fun we had!

In the above pictures, we played with the timer to get some shots of us together...it was fun. And, I had forgotten how much fun she had being in pictures...needless to say, I got a lot of good practice.

We took her to Chuck E Cheese the morning before we left.. (Monday)....and she won some cool prizes, blue clips with braids for her hair and this lovely mask you see above too!
And, she had fun at the pool, talking on the phone. She was a happy kid. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

She reminded me of lots of things...and one was really cool. She reminded me that "you know that one time, Emmy, that one time I squeezed you so hard....I just had a feeling...and I didn't want to let you go!"
So, she's adjusting well, and her new family are trying their hardest to make things wonderful for her. It was really hard leaving, and I just hope I'm always doing the right thing. The right thing for her, not for me. Hoping and praying for her to adjust and have a wonderful, safe, and fun filled life.
And, she grew like three inches too...and her hair is growing out also....a beautiful girl!
