Nicaragua: Day 4

Tuesday was spent in the town of Matagalpa at the local police clinic. We provided medical here as well.

This is a picture of the pharmacy setup we used. We had individual bags labeled for the types of medicine that included our pre-counted, pre-sorted, and pre-labeled medication. However, we also had the ability to mix some medicines for the kids as well as give any soap, shampoo, or things like that to the families. It was fun. Lots of fun.

One of the most common fun things was to make glove balloons for the kids with decorations. Here's an example of one!

This clinic had a great setup for the dentist, as evidenced by a real dental chair. And, their room was AIR CONDITIONED!!!!!

Emily and Alison...she was adorable and kissed everyone good bye. The people were so thankful and they always shook our hands.

Alison again, with her lovely sunglasses.
